2025 Texas Summer Flute Symposium

The Texas Summer Flute Symposium is a 4-day flute intensive day seminar for serious flutists, held on the Dallas campus of East Texas A&M University. Pre-professionals, adult amateurs, professionals and teachers are welcome! This summer, we will feature guest artists Leone Buyse (Rice University, retired), Conor Nelson (University of Wisconsin-Madison), Helen Blackburn (The Dallas Opera) and Julee Kim Walker (ETAMU/Artistic Director). In addition, the Haynes Flutes team will be joining to provide clinics and workshops throughout the week. Come learn from the nation’s finest pedagogues and participate in flute choir, performance classes, concerts and more! Gabriel Sanchez (pianist, Dallas Symphony) will be joining as our Collaborative Artist. For more information, please contact Dr. Julee Kim Walker at julee.walker@tamuc.edu.

Tuition: Auditors: $75/day, Participants: $250, Performers: $395-$450. Spots filled first come, first serve.
