Dear NFA Voting Member:
The Annual Meeting of the Voting Members of The National Flute Association, Inc. will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at 9:00am (Central US Time) in San Antonio, TX in Room C1/C2 of the Henry B. González Convention Center (900 East Market Street) for the following purposes: (1) to introduce the candidate for election of Vice President, (2) to introduce the candidate for election of Assistant Secretary, (3) to introduce the Board of Directors candidates for ratification, and (4) to transact such other business as may properly come before the meeting and any adjournments or postponements thereof.
Voting Members of record and in good standing are entitled to notice (as provided herein) and to vote. Motions will be considered to be approved if quorum is met by the return of at least 50 responses. Ballots may not be revoked.
The election will open on Monday, July 1 and close at 5:00 p.m. central on Saturday, August 3, 2024. Ballots may not be submitted after that time. Voting results will be announced during the Closing Ceremonies at the Annual Convention and in the Fall issue of The Flutist Quarterly. Please choose carefully, as once the ballot is submitted, it cannot be changed.
Note that only one vote per eligible NFA member will be accepted. Votes from non-members will not be considered or counted.
