Dear NFA Members,
Thank you for submitting your proposals for the 53rd Annual National Flute Association Convention, taking place August 7–10, 2025, in Atlanta, GA.
This year, we were thrilled to receive an incredible
509 applications for performances, lectures, sight-reading sessions, warm-ups, and workshops. The sheer breadth of talent, creativity, and innovation in our flute community is truly inspiring! While space and scheduling constraints limited us to accepting
259 proposals, we are deeply grateful for the effort and passion behind every single submission.
Whether your proposal was accepted in full, partially, or not this time, please know that the
Programming Committee has worked thoughtfully to showcase as many voices as possible in what promises to be a dynamic and inspiring event.
We can’t wait to see you in Atlanta—performing with your favorite ensemble, sharing your expertise, learning new things, or simply enjoying the uplifting energy of our vibrant NFA community. This is, after all, the biggest flute party in the world, and it won’t be the same without you.
With gratitude,
Mariana Gariazzo
