Unity & Universal Oneness

The NFA's 53rd Annual Convention
August 7-10, 2025
Hyatt Regency Atlanta ❘ Atlanta, GA

Advance registration will open on January 13th, 2025

A message from the program team:

The 53rd National Flute Association Convention in Atlanta will underscore the theme of unity and universal oneness.

The concept of oneness, where “all is one and one is all,” has been taught and explored across many different cultures and practiced over thousands of years; yet it remains a principle with which humanity seems to struggle daily.

The idea suggests that everything in the universe is interconnected, and there is no separation between anything. What is done to one affects the whole. We are One, representing a single life expressed in countless diverse ways.

It is often during times of extreme hardship, that virtue and nobility emerge within the human spirit. Let us harness the power and strength of our NFA flute community worldwide, to sow the seeds of peace by acknowledging our interconnected oneness. We are One. We are the NFA.

About the Convention

Each August, thousands of flutists gather at the Annual NFA Convention for four days of performances, masterclasses, competitions, and workshops. With a dynamic roster of activities, the convention offers something for flutists and flute fans of all ages and skill levels. In between events, guests can wander the lively exhibit hall to shop for instruments, music, and accessories from their favorite vendors.

Venue

The Hyatt Regency Atlanta is located on downtown Atlanta's famed Peachtree Street. This "all-in-one" venue will act as both the convention hotel and event center; all convention activities will take place in the same building.

When you are ready to explore the city, you are only steps away from the fine dining, shopping, and cultural activities that downtown Atlanta has to offer.

Hotel

We have secured a block of discounted rooms at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, which will also host all convention performances and activities. Convention guests are strongly encouraged to stay at the Hyatt Regency, the NFA convention community hub, and help the NFA meet our room minimum, which helps us keep costs down.

Hotel rooms start at $169/night. Our online room reservation portal will open on January 13th, 2025.

Please only book your convention hotel through our booking portal. If you receive third-party emails claiming to offer a hotel discount, they are likely a scam and not legitimate.

Event Schedule

An event schedule will be published in the spring. You can expect that each day of the convention will be filled with events from morning to night, with sessions taking place during the day and large-format "Gala Concerts" taking place each evening.
