Next Steps for the Baroque Flute Masterclass Competition
Entrants will be notified by Thursday, April 30, 2020 of the judges' decisions. The three baroque flutists chosen to advance will participate in a masterclass during the 2021 NFA Convention in Washington, D.C.

The triennial Baroque Flute Masterclass Competition will select three baroque flutists to perform for master teacher, Sandra Miller, at the 2020 NFA Convention. This competition is open to all flutists.
All repertoire must be performed on Baroque flute/traverso (with harpsichord when basso continuo is specified). All pieces should be played with repeats as written, with ornamentation at the performer’s discretion.
All entrants must submit their entry, upload recordings/supplemental materials, and pay competition and membership fees by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, Tuesday, February 18, 2020.
Each piece should be uploaded as a separate file in the following order. All uploaded files must be audio recordings. No videos are allowed.
Accompanied repertoire must be recorded with piano accompaniment.
