| Texas Flute Society - Myrna Brown Artist Competition:
The 23rd Myrna Brown Artist Competition - 2008 will be held Thursday May 15 and Friday May 16, 2008 in conjunction with the Texas Flute Festival on the campus of University of North Texas, Denton. This competition is open to anyone; no age limit. First Prize - $1200, Second - $500, Third - $250.
